Position: Inside Sales Engineer

Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt

Reports To: Senior Sales Engineer

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Position Summary: The primary responsibility for an inside sales engineer is to assist in the selling of the company’s products.To be successful in the position an individual will need to possess and in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and the industry’s needs. This individual should be driven to achieve anticipated goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.

Essential Duties (not limited to):

• Aid the senor sales engineer in researching, quoting and sending customer quotes.
• Coordination with the engineer team when making sales quoting decisions.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Collaborate with a diverse team on a variety of sales/engineering/manufacturing tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks with quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Consistently follow supervisor directives in all regular duties and other assigned tasks.
• Adhere to all company policy and procedures, including safety protocol.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• International and domestic travel maybe required occasionally.
• Other duties as determined from time to time.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a high stress sales environment.
• High mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Knowledge of structural steel construction and mechanical parts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Design software is a must. Experience of 3D solid modeling is a plus.
• Background with automation system/material handling is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field a plus.
• 3 or more years of experience as a mechanical engineer/designer or related field a plus.
• Proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software a must.

Physical Demands:

Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment as necessary to comply with government and company safety standards whenever engineered methods of reducing hazard or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated.Job includes tasks that require sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting, gripping, stair and ladder climbing, entering confined spaces and occasionally lifting objects up to 75 lbs. Periodic travel as required for engineering site visits and/or during project installations.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
